Gmail has been hacked. For me, whatttttttt?????? GMail one of the good secured mail program has been hacked? I was intrested in knowing how? Recently I know about a email hacking by doing some SQL Injections. I’m sure that it is not a kind of SQL Injection. But my guess was wrong. It’s a kind of injection. But a filter injection. The hack is not a password hack, but your mail hacks. Suddenly I started worrying about my email id. Just checked did any strange GMail Filter was created in my account. There was a big sigh of relief )). Next question in my mind was, How a filter injection? Concept is simple. You click a link given you a mail. It’s Create a Filter in GMail to forward all the mails you receive to a particular mail id, through a simple javascript execution. Sakib, had this news post from whom I came to know about the Hacking stuff. I’m not sure how many know about this stuff happened. As soon as Google received the complaint, they have fixed it. David Airey, a GMail user has got his life screwed up by this hack. He had lost few grands due to this hack. He have elegantly explained about the problem he faced and ways he used to tackle it.
