		<description>Hey Sharoney, don&#039;t feel stupid. You are right. Gmail doesn&#039;t allow you to do a substring search in the mail address. That&#039;s one of the necessary search where most needs. Google has to look into this.

Instead you could do a name search, if u know the name.

Eg:

		<description>This makes me feel so stupid, but I *can&#039;t* seem to search my Gmail for partial email addresses. For instance, maybe all I remember is that there is the word &quot;saber&quot; somewhere in the from: email. Gmail just *doesn&#039;t* give me any results with regular or advanced search, even though I know it&#039;s there. It&#039;s so maddening - I&#039;ve tried wildcards and just typing in saber and it never works. I wouldn&#039;t even mind feeling *more* stupid if someone could tell me where I&#039;m going wrong. I mean, if there&#039;s *one* thing Gmail ought to be able to do, it&#039;s search exhaustively! Particularly when there is no tree organizational structure.</description>
